Raúl Pérez is considered one of the greatest winegrowers in Spain, and also one of the most prolific, producing more than thirty of his own wines, in addition to supervising several renowned wineries (Estefania / Tilenus, Castro Ventosa). He has a discreet personality and it was by humbly stepping aside to let the vineyard and its land express themselves, paradoxically, that he earned the status of wine superstar. From Bierzo to the Rías Baixas, passing through Ribeira Sacra and Monterrei, he makes artist wines whose reputation extends far beyond the borders of his native Spain. However, despite all the hype, very few have managed to taste the virtuoso's wines as his wines are often produced in only a few barrels per vintage.
