Slide rules were used before the electronic calculator. They have been used for several 100 years and could be used for many complicated calculations quickly. Many countries had their own manufacturers. This lot is a good example of different versions. These 15 slide rules come with their original box or (leather) sleeve. All slide rules have their cursor and they are complete, no cracks, no chips, no parts missing. These are 50 to 80 years old and in good shape. Some are made of wood (earlier), some or all plastic (later). Of these 7 are pocket models and 2 are round models, the size above is an estimate for the normal sized ones.
