In recent years, he was awarded the "Jose Sanchís Grau" Award for Best Illustrated Book in Valencia and the "Carlos Giménez" Award for Best Illustrated Erotic Book for "Cinco relatos apasionados" ("Five Passionate Stories") in Madrid in 2017. Bleda’s early work, "El Baile del Vampiro" (1997), earned him a nomination for “Premio al Autor de Revelación” at the Salón del Cómic de Barcelona.
