A very unique and aesthetically balanced cabinet from this world-class locality of northern China, that features a very evenly shaped ball of shiny and translucent prasem quartz crystals that appears accented to the right by a cross made of two discoidal casts of what originally was calcite but has by now been pseudomorphed into prasem quartz and to the left by a single 0,3 mm crystal of gemy orange sphalerite, which, as I have come to learn, is a pretty rare mineral for this deposit. Apart from these, tremolite, weathered ilvaite, casts of ilvaite and a few vugs filled with hematite microcrystals can be observed throughout the base of this specimen, along with a few strange brow coatings that might be helvine. Damagewise, the piece is broken at the base and has a few minor breaks on the quartz around the back (they aren't visible from the display side), but otherwise it is in perfect shape.
