With limited quantities worldwide, this is a rare bottle worth adding to your collection. The Lagavulin 12 Year Old has the classic style of the distillery appealing to fans of smokier drams. Very pale gold in color, the aroma is direct and powerful, peat smoke underpinned by fresh, clean notes. A light and smoothly oily body with a surprisingly mild taste. Smooth, sweeter than previous releases and a little salt, adding seaside character, that balances the flavors. A long, refined, smoky and slightly bitter finish.
