This Masterwork is inspired by the original costume designed by the famous artist Erté, for the celebrated opera.
Romain de Tirtoff (23 November 1892 – 21 April 1990), known by the pseudonym Erté. He was a 20th-century artist and designer in an array of fields, including fashion, jewellery, graphic arts, costume and set design for film, theatre, and opera, and interior decor.
Sevenarts Ltd are the owners of the Intellectual Property Rights and Trademark for Erté.
The base and all gold details are 24 Kt gold plated. The wings are in metal etched and can be open and close. The enamelled porcelain is carefully handpainted and decorated with Swarovski rhinestones. The song of carillon is "One fine day" from Puccini.
