Everyone knows the Vikings as believers in Odin and the Norse gods. But because they traveled (and plundered) many countries, they were influenced by the different cultures they encountered. Christianity was also adopted. In many cases this was a slow process. In the Viking early Christian era, one God was just another God they could believe in. He fit into their world of many gods. It was only later that some Vikings accepted the Christian God as their only God.
You can still wear this beautiful jewel, it has an intact suspension ring. A modern necklace is included.
