1945: Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture
1964-1968: Learned woodblock printing at Miyuki, a publisher in Kyoto
1965-1970: Exhibited woodblock prints at the Kyoto Independent Exhibition
1969-1972: Created dyed prints
1972: Started full-scale production of original woodblock prints
1987-: Actively held solo exhibitions of woodblock prints in Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Otsu, Nara, Nagoya, San Francisco, Sydney, Hong Kong, etc.
