A graceful, medium-sized six-panel byôbu 屏風 (folding screen) featuring a tranquil Shijô school-style painting.
The serene scene showcases various birds gathered on a slope beside a waterfront, surrounded by large, slanting pine trees 松 (matsu) and scattered young bamboo along the ground. At the centre, a pair of stately red-crowned cranes 鶴 (tsuru) stands tall, gazing towards a brown duck 鴨 (kamo) approaching in flight. Nearby, a brown wading bird and a pair of mandarin ducks add to the peaceful atmosphere near the cranes.
Along the right side a dated inscription, signature and 4-character name seal. Dated: ‘August Shôwa 36’ 昭和三十六年八月, Anno 1961.
The painting rendered in watercolour and ink on paper. Encased by a protective black lacquered wooden frame.

Total width: 258.8 cm (2 x 44.6 cm and 4 x 42.4 cm); Height: 131.8 cm.
In a good condition with traces of wear conform age, like discolouring, and old paper restorations on the backside. For a clear condition reference, please refer to the photos.
