Artist: Hisami Kunitake
Edition: 49/200, title in Japanese, and hand-signed on the bottom margin.
Conditions: excellent conditions as new
Paper size: 224 x 192 mm
Hisami Kunitaki was born in Fukuoka prefecture in 1930. The design artist is well known in Japan. He won the first prize in the Japan National Sightseeing Poster Exhibition 6 times during 1954-59. He became a member of Nihon Senden Bijutsu Kai (Japan Commercial Art Association) in 1960. He also won the first prize in the International Sightseeing Poster Exhibition held in Belgium in 1958. His specialty is silkscreens of landscape and nature scene in stylized and simplified compositions and in soft pastel colors.
Hisami wrote : Beautiful forests, lakes and wildflowers heal people's hearts and invite them to a happy feeling. If the white horse that appeared quietly in this scene nurtures a beautiful heart with you, it would be great. I feel a great deal of joy.
