Condition:
Book inside and outside excellent, fresh and flawless; clean with no marks and with no foxing. Dustjacket fresh, complete with no missing parts and still impressive; trace of use, some tears the edges (professionally closed, not taped), some very small white parts. Overall fine condition.

"Whether in 1959, 1969, 1979 or 1989 - the propaganda volumes published for the country's anniversaries (and in between) always show the same thing in principle, albeit with different visual material in an increasing amount of colour and in a modernised layout.
It also contains a chapter with juxtapositions of current and historical images important to the history of the country, including Richard Peter's icon of the "Dresden Angel". The book, which was also produced in an exclusive full leather edition, was honoured as one of the most beautiful books of the GDR in 1979, received a silver medal at the 1980 exhibition "Most Beautiful Books from all over the world" exhibition in 1980 and went through six editions until 1986."
