**Donald Brun (1909–1999)** was a Swiss graphic designer and one of the most significant figures in the field of mid-20th-century poster art. Known for his whimsical and playful approach to advertising, Brun's work is characterized by its simplicity, charm, and wit. Unlike many of his contemporaries who embraced more modernist and abstract styles, Brun’s designs often featured humorous, cartoon-like characters and clever visual metaphors that appealed directly to the viewer’s emotions.

Brun began his career in the 1930s, and his work gained widespread recognition for its effectiveness in communicating clear and engaging messages. He became particularly well-known for his advertising posters for brands such as Perrier, Martini, and Swissair.
