Every year since 1980, the French Tennis Federation has associated contemporary art with the Roland-Garros tournament by entrusting the creation and signing of the tournament poster to an artist. At the end of a process initiated last year with Fabrice Bousteau, editor-in-chief of Beaux Arts Magazine, for the 2020 edition, the FFT has chosen to entrust the design of the poster for the 2021 tournament to the young French figurative painter, Jean Claracq.
Aged 29 and graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2017, Jean Claracq has had an impressive and particularly promising start to his career.
This artist expresses in his pictorial universe and with his remarkable sensitivity the vision of the Parisian Grand Chelem.
