Neagoe Dragos (1974) - Emotion

This artwork's concept is made of 2 pieces, the pedestal and sculpture. The pedestal is manufactured from oak wood and has the dimension and diameter of 17 cm height. The sculpture is shaped in clay, and cast into dust marble and additives. The dimensions of the artwork is 56 cm. with a diameter of 15 cm. On the surface of the composition, there is a model with a flower pattern. The piece is created in my art studio.
My works of art belong in numerous collection of art in Europe. I had created public monumental art works in Romania.

I am a licensed sculptor and a member of the Union of Plastic Artists from Romania and a graduate of the University of Art in Bucharest, with a master's degree. I exhibited a lot, in different professional art galleries in Romania. We have created several public monuments, the last one being inaugurated in 2023. The proof is the numerous radio, television and specialized magazine interviews that you can watch or read on google. Prestigious critics have spoken about the uniqueness of my works. I am concerned with the symbiosis between old and new, between the proportions and balances of classical volumes and my inner lives. I am concerned with the plastic expression of the volume, but also with a unitary concept of the ensemble. I remain anchored in the traditional way of looking at art, implicitly sculpture. Art for me is a way of life and without it my existence has no purpose on this earth. My whole universe revolves between living transformation (everything alive, organic) in the language of sculpture, creating emotions, experiences and feelings. Nothing is free or just for fun. I would like my art to wake up your spirits on fire, to feel joy. Let the hatred and suffering go. In conclusion, "sculpture for me is a special state of matter".
