Observations: This theropod tooth is of exceptional rarity. In the Middle Jurassic of the Mers Formation, several megalosaurids have been found that are still undescribed officially. These are potential Megalosaurids. So far only a few isolated teeth have been found. This is a nice example of them. It has no restorations, only a tiny glued fracture.
