Of particular interest is the rather rare medal 30 years of Baikonur (bronze, weight 73 g, diameter 5 cm,
smooth edge) and
the anniversary medal to the Test Veteran of the 6th Nauchnoe Ispitatelnoe Upravlenie (6 НИУ) 1967-87.
6th Scientific Testing Directorate (6 НИУ) (military unit 96630)
Formed on January 25, 1967 in Leninsk, Kzyl-Orda region as part of the 5th NIIP (Baikonur test site) to test the N1-L3 lunar rocket-space complex at site No. 113. In the late 80s, the Energia-Buran complex was tested here.
6 commemorative badges Mikhail Yangel — to the creator of the USSR nuclear missile shield.
