A lovely antique Chinese porcelain Blanc de Chine FLUTE or WHISTLE, depicting a Finely carved seated Monkey holding a Baby on Artemisia Leaf. Executed in a nice monochrome translucent exceptional creamy white glaze. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China, Dehua kilns in the Fujian province, during the Qing dynasty, 17th century (Kangxi Period). On the bottom a nicely sculpted rooted foot, showing age and material. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Length: 3,6 centimeter
Condition: The object is in good condition, without any restorations; shallow flake of the nose and small baking imperfections. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
