Pu precoce Ágata Natural Bandada (Ônix) Talismã de Conta de Unicórnio - 53 mm

An extremely rare natural banded agate (onyx) unicorn bead talisman from the ancient Pyu culture.

First Millennium AD .

In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler,so its surfae is shiny and smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular, but have been over drilled with modern techniques to make the piece wearable when ancient holes obstructed. Traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
