This original painting by Belgian artist Jules RAMBO offered for Auction.
Working in and around Brussels in the first half of the twentieth century, Jules Rambo was a painter of landscapes, portraits, figurative pieces and still-lifes. Using an Impressionist technique, yet enlivening his work with Fauvist colors, his heavily applied paint texture makes for an appealing image.
A number of major retrospective exhibitions of his work were held in Belgium including one at the Galerij Rubens in Brussels, 1956 in conjunction with the paintings of Gilberte Noyer and others in 1945, 1947 and 1950 at the Galerij De Giroux also in Brussels.
The painting will be packaged and shipped to you via DPD once payment is received.
