岡本豊彦 Okamoto Toyohiko (1773-1845)
Painter of the Shijo School in the late Edo period. Born in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. Went to Kyoto to study under Goshun. Specializing in Sansui landscape painting, he became a representative painter of the Shijo School along with Matsumura Keubun. His painting style was friendly and emotional. His students include Shiokawa Bunrin and Shibata Zeshin.
