Small poster size picture of Doris Day. In this size an absolute rarity. Such picture prints were usually confined to standard postcards. Found in a recently cleared cupboard in an upper class Amsterdam home. Edited by Warner at the time with (what seems to be) a license address at Jacob de Graefflaan 2 in the Hague, another never seen element. It is possible this actual picture was taken in the Netherlands because of the flower theme. Postcard size versions of this picture that have been found have early 1950s postal stamps on it and therefore this poster is likely from the same period, making it well over 70 years of age ! It has hung when the original owner was still a teenage girl at the time. There are pin holes and minor paper loss from those at the corners. There was a 5 cm tear in the top rim. A distinct fold line in the upper left corner. A few creases that are visible too, especially as it is printed on sturdy paper. Corners and tears have been repaired and reinforced using acid free paper tape. However as it is a picture print the colors are still great and the poster is surprisingly clean.
