Artist: Nakanishi Koseki中西耕石 (1807-1884) was a 19th century Japanese painter who specialized in flower-and-bird paintings and landscape paintings. As a young man, he worked as a ceramist, then became a student of renowned painter Matsumura Keibun, before becoming a professor at the Kyoto School of Painting in 1882. Artist: Hine Taizan日根対山 (1813-1869), famous Bakumatsu literati painter, loved painting as a child, studied Tosa school of painting, and later became a student of the famous painter Okada Hanko, He often copied ancient Chinese paintings, and his painting skills increased greatly. At the age of 28, he traveled to Kyoto and studied under the famous calligrapher Nukina Suo.
