Up for auction is a Vintage electric Jazz Guitar, typed 100, made by Eko in Italy late 1950, early 6ties - serial nr. 130366 - the hollow body is honey colored, has an archtop w. F slots, a loose tuneable bridge and bolt-on (straight as an arrow) neck wich consists of 2 main pieces of dark wood glued together w. 2 contrasting thin pieces to prevent warping - smooth working tuners - 1 humbucking pickup w. Volume & Tone controls - standard 1/4 inch output jack - plastic semi opaque pick gard - chrome tailpiece.
Guitar was 2 months ago slightly overhauld and finetuned by a guitar builder - due to age and use there are a number of cracks and small damages in the laquer, but as a whole it's in a good to very good condition considering it's more than 60 years old!
An ideal guitar to play Blues or Jazz music - it plays and sounds great, has a very low action.
In the luthier's opinion the guitar is 100% original,
so who am I to say it's not......
Comes with a new gigbag and new strings.
