Shinseiki no Shashin Nobuyoshi Araki AaT ROOM/2001/Japanese/220*285*18 Shinseiki no Shashin” is a collection of works by Nobuyoshi Araki, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. The 60s began with “Satchin,” which won the Taiyo Award; the 70s, represented by “Sentimental Journey,” which was born from an encounter with his beloved wife Yoko and could be said to mark the beginning of “Araki's personal photography”; the 80s, when he and renowned editor Akira Suei combined their talents for extreme depiction and “Eros” at the height of their powers, as well as for outstanding visual expression. Nobuyoshi Araki has continued to explore various styles according to his own feelings and the mood of the times. Since 2010, he has continued his creative activities despite suffering from vision problems in his right eye, and has continued to publish exhibitions and photo collections. This book is a collection of color photographs by Araki and others published by ArT Room in 2001, in a limited edition of 2001 copies, to kick off the 21st century.
