Very good condition. In 1889, the first album for stamps was published in St. Petersburg by Otto Kirchner Publishing House (1848-1901). In 1904, the eighth edition was published. The album was prepared by I.I. Krewing, one of the first stamp dealers, editor of the magazine "World Mail" (published in 1897-1898). Each page of the album is dedicated to the stamps of a specific country, about which the following information is given at the top of the sheet: government structure, area, population, current currency, name of the capital, information about the reigning monarch (if any) and his date of birth.
