Kralik - Kralik Art Deco Azurine "Spatter Glass" vase 1920's - Wazon - "Szkło rozpryskowe", Szkło rozpryskowe"
Blown and hand-shaped art deco Kralik glass vase from the 1920s in perfect condition. On its light blue surface, an asymmetrical marbly pattern of white color can be seen. The azurine color and pattern create a gentle effect on the surface. Its elongated spherical upper part is supported by a lower part of contrasting shape but with same color. A glass decorative object with a refined color scheme, meticulously made and in excellent condition, made with the spatter technique, which is a technique that dates back to Roman times and has been used for centuries. Blown glass is produced by rolling hot blown glass into small pieces or chips of colored glass. The glass manufacturers who most often use the splash glass technique are the Czech glassmakers, the most prominent representatives of which are Kralik and Welz. The Kralik Glass Factory was a well-known producer of Czech art glass that came to prominence in the late Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras, producing mostly vases and bowls in a style inspired by Loetz and others.
