This kilim was handwoven in Azerbaijan in the Mid 20th Century.

It features columns of polychrome spade-like or vegetal forms on yellow and green ground tones delineated by thick red lines. The likely unintentional shift in scale adds visual interest and personality to the piece.

In excellent condition,ideal for areas with heavy foot traffic, and very hard-wearing for a flatweave.
