The shipping cost is solely for what i pay the postal provider, i have at times been reusing packaging for the item being shipped but if the package arrived openend then something has been done along the way cause it wasent shipped that way which im sorry on the behalf of the postal provider for. At the time of postage the cost of sending registered traceble mail from sweden was 228sek its extremely expensive to send insured stuff via the mail here. It is still unacceptable that the post handled your package as badly as you claim as for the packaging i will refrain from reusing packaging from now on.
