A stunning silverplated bowl with a beautiful engraved crystal glass insert in a lovely Danish Jugend design from the early 1900s.
The bowl sits on a pedestal that is beautifully decorated with vine leafs and grapes. The glass insert has very charming engravings on the rim that gives it an extra dimension, and the bowl itself is made in a hammered texture.
Three hallmarks on the base: Denmark's two tower hallmark (used until 1929 - silverplate), Thor's hammer hallmark (Danish quality stamp), and an "M" (manufacturer).
Some signs of wear to the silverplating mainly on the inner side of the bowl - unnoticeable when in use, see photos - the glass has no chipping or cracks. Lovely antique condition. Art Nouveau.
