The Mehrab design at the centre with some kind of mystic vase and floral theme in dark blue background surrounded with very detailed geometric motifs in multi borders. Gordes rugs are known for their two dimensional colour palettes whereby the primary colours of blue weakened in favour of shade variations of new colours like light green and pink seen in this rug.
