Lot of 5 interesting 1920s-1930s French and Belgian cookbooks. Due to their age the books have wear and tear. Take a look at the photos for the condition.

1) Recettes de Cuisine Pratique par Mme G. Schéfer & Mlle H. François - published by Librairie Delagrave (Paris) - 1929

Illustrated throughout. Front cover, back and spine have wear and tear and some stains. Edge of the spine has a little tear. A limited amount of pages are reenforced with transparent adhesive tape at the hinge). The number 150 is written on one of the first pages in pen and this page has a crease and a little tear (at the top). Pages have foxing and a very limited amount of stains. In general the pages are in good and clean condition for their age.

2) La Cuisine au Coin du Feu: Recettes Raisonnables et Rainsonnées par Paul Bouillard - published by Albin Michel (Paris) - printed in 1935 (copyright 1928)

The book cover, back and spine have wear and tear and stains. The spine is damaged at the bottom. Edges are bumped. The number 21.50 is written at the top left-hand corner. Size and edges of the pages are irregular (not uncommon for that period). Pages have a little bit of foxing and a very limited amount of stains. Top of pages 49-52 are torn (see photos). In general the pages are in good and clean condition for their age.

3) La Bonne Cuisine de Chez Vous par Madame Germaine (Edition spéciale illustré) - published by J. Dupois, Fils & Cie (Marcinelles-Charleroi) - Undated

Very cool edition of this cookbook with funny illustrations. The cover, back and spine have wear and tear, foxing and some stains. First pages is creased. Pages have foxing, but are in good/very good and clean condition for their ages.

4) Les Mille Recettes de Tante Rosalie - published by Société d'Edition des Journaux du "Patriote" (Bruxelles) - 1930

Cover and back have creases. Spine has creases, wear and tear and a little bit of damage to the sides. Pages are clean for their age, but have some creases and little bit of foxing at the edges. Page before the title page has a tear. Pages 117-120 have stains. A recipe is written in pencil on pages 239 and 244.

5) La Gourmandise à Bon Marché par Paul Bouillard - published by Albin Michel (Paris) - 1925

Book cover, back and spine have stains and wear and tear. Cover is damaged at the bottom right. Spine has creases and damaged at the top and bottom. 21.50 is written on the back (top left corner). Pages are in good and clean condition for their age. A little bit of foxing around the edges. Size of the pages as well as the edges of the pages are irregular.
