Nuremburg - Sejf - Kute żelazo

Museum quality polychromed iron Money Box / Armada / Strongbox 17th century Nuremberg / Wrought iron money box, with iron bands between which there are painted flowers such as daffodils. And scenes including houses, sailboats, castles, windmills, row boats, stately homes. Painting refreshed.

The large lid can close & the mechanism works to close the lid with the key in the top (takes sone muscle!). The little box inside is locked and the key in sticking out. We cannot open it, nor can we remove that inner key. Maybe there’s something still in there?!

Must be collected in The Hague, Archipel neighborhood as it’s far too heavy to send. Would need a dolly & probably 2 people.
