A large and heavy Usaburo Kokeshi, coming from the famous Usaburo family workshop in the Gunma prefecture, Japan.
This handmade wooden doll is beautifully carved with red and white flowers.
Remarkably, it has golden writing on the backside, which is not often seen.
Translated, it is a happy birthday wish for the lucky first owner 20th birthday.
It is in almost mint state, except for a few very small dents, which are hardly visible to the naked eye.
