For the collector: On tripod with adjustment screw, no brand, on vertical part it reads DÉPOSÉ, this means the design was protected, metal scale up to 350 grams.
The special thing about this scale is that the postal rates are printed in black letters on the round brass plateau, and because those rates were constantly changed.
The letter scale can be dated between 1-4-1892 and 1-10-1907 (see Measuring & Weighing page . 3137-3138), and what is even more special is that everything is still easy to read.
These rates are almost always wiped out by diligent housekeepers.
