Valentin Morel's “Homage to Frank Zappa”. The Chardonnay from 2020 matured for 1 year in barrels. During the 2021 harvest, the skins of Valentin's “hybrids” were added to the Chardonnay for weeks to achieve additional complexity. The wine then remained in old barrels for a further year. Long story....'No progress is possible without deviation from the norm', Frank Zappa would say. And so it is. Wine of progress this Broken Hearts.
