Gabriel Perelle (1604-1677) - lot of two landscapes - two very fine etchings. 17th Century. Proofs with wide margins, under mount.

Both printed on laid paper, both with watermarks.

"Landscape with Church in the Background" - signed in plate, under image. Very good condition, strong inked image, beautiful contrast. Clean reverse. Very small remain of old hinge on sheet, lower left corner, not on view (under the mount). Dimensions of sheet - 27.5 x 18 cm, dimensions to plate - 17.8 x 11 cm. Total dimensions with mount - 30.5 x 20.4 cm. Inscriptions (author, title) on mount, under image. Old pencil attribution on back of mount.

"Landscape with Ruins with Arches" - signed in plate, under image. Very fine condition, minor stain upper left corner, strong inked image, beautiful contrast. Clean reverse. Two small tears to sheet (lower edge and right edge), some soiling to sheet, a crease towards lower left corner to sheet - all faults not on view (under the mount). No effect to plate/image, very good image. Dimensions of sheet - 29.5 x 18.3 cm, dimensions to plate - 19.7 x 10 cm. Total dimensions with mount - 30.5 x 20.4 cm. Inscriptions (author, title) on mount, under image. Old pencil attribution on back of mount.
