NAOMI TOKI - Egoist. Collection Works by the Female Photographer Naomi Toki - 2000

Naomi Toki is a major photographer in Japan ; she begans her career in 1990 , has had a secret life , very few things about her ; very few photos of her and that's why the book " Egoist " is interessant ( and sought after by the collectoirs) , because we known now that there are about 10-12 self -portraits in the book.
For the criticals , the photos where the models wear a hat or these with a mirror ( not this where we see the visage in the mirror, it's her model ) You find also her famous self-portrait at the end ( as usual in almost all her books )
You will note that she was choosen in the first edition of Super Photo ( one of the main publication on photography in Japan ) in 1993 with N. Araki, H. Sawatari or Masuo Ikeda. ( all are great photographers)
She got a lot of prestigious awards all over the world and her exhibitions are always successfull.
She is the best photographer to restitute the feminine sensuality, when the critical asked her why, she replied
" Because I am a woman "
Egoist was released in 2000 , 25,7 x 21,4 cm , softcover with jacket , 80 pages, only B&W prints.
Stayed in very good conditions, a small bump on one corner and slights folds on the pages under the bump ( photos) , a slight red stain on the parafin paper over the title page, slights marks ( difficult to take the photos) at the back on the perimeter ( surely a heavy book smaller stayed over the book )
A very slight yellowed band at the perimeter on some pages. The photos stayed excellent, fine resolution
