Condrieu Gangloff

About the cuvée 2018

By nature, condrieu is an extremely tasty and refined wine. However, Yves Gangloff was able to raise his to the top of the whites of this name. Its apricot and honeyed notes are enhanced by the freshness of those of white flowers. His attack is frank, ample, creamy. Extremely generous, this cuvée persists for a long time thanks to an acidity in the finish that ends with flavors of roasted almonds. In short, this wine is of incredible complexity and combines with genius flavors, freshness and texture. To make this condrieu, Yves Gangloff carried out manual harvesting, a scratching, a maceration in a thermoregulated stainless steel tank and a stripping. The wine was then aged for 1 year in 300L barrels. Exceptional wine, exceptional accord: as an aperitif, a pan-fried foie gras will be ideal. Do not hesitate to discover this cuvée for dessert too: an apricot pie will undoubtedly honor it. Keep this cuvée for a good ten years in the cellar.
