【Product details】

This finely crafted Noh mask, created in Heisei 7 (1995) by the esteemed mask carver Gagyū Ujiyoshi, a member of the Japanese Noh Academy, based in Sendai City, embodies the serene beauty of a young woman.

The interior of the mask is signed by the artist, and it comes with a handwritten note by Gagyū Ujiyoshi. The mask is complete with a cord for wearing and a beautiful silk bag for protection. It is housed in its original wooden box.

There are signs of wear, stains, and discoloration due to age. Please refer to the photos for a detailed view of the condition.
