These are two red lacquer plates with lobed rims. The scalloped edges resemble the petals of a sunflower, a common design in traditional Chinese wares, adding both elegance and showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the artisans of the time.

Some abrasion and scratches caused by age. Some of the gold-painted patterns have partially worn off. There are areas where the red lacquer has partially worn off. No restoration.
