These exhibition photographs were created to convey the tragedy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to the world. Each photograph embodies Japan's strong desire, as the only country that has suffered atomic bombings, to "never repeat such a tragedy" and "create a world without war."
This set includes 20 photographs specially made for exhibition. Each photograph measures 41 cm x 61 cm and weighs 102 grams.
This item is the English edition of the photo book originally published in Japanese in 1980. All captions for the photographs have been translated into English, and an English version of the explanatory booklet is included.
Due to long-term storage, there are some stains and creases on the box and the backs of the photographs, but overall, the condition is very good.
