Lot of 47 unique postcards of the village and military camp Mailly-le-Camp, France.

None of these postcards were ever sent, with the exception of the only double fold in the collection, which is dated 23 June 1914.

The camp was established in 1902 and these postcards ranging from 1910-1930 (estimate based on uniforms and items in the pictures) provide a view on the life in the camp and adjacent village:
- training artillery and infantry
- soldier life
- general view of the camp
- focus on various important buildings (abattoir, hospital, infirmerie, casbah, station...)
- view of various buildings in the village and damage done during WW1
- also contains 6 souvenir postcards (1 coloured, 5 black and white)

The postcards are in good shape, with little to no folds and stains. See pictures for details.
