A rare WW1 produced fully functional heavy Army Engineers compass as used by combat engineers. The compass was made likely in 1917 or 1918, and was produced by the Paris Cruchon- Emons company in France, during WW1. The needle is moving and the lid functions as it should be. A very good quality and heavy compass is in nice condition, overall a rare find - complete with the oriignal leather quality pouch which is always missing. Also used in WW2 still!
