Kunio Kaneko (b. 1949) is one of the most loved and famous contemporary Japanese woodblock print artists. Favourite designs for his prints are: Koi carp, gold fish, trees, Mount Fuji, and traditional Japanese motifs (like kimonos). His prints are fully handmade. He often uses gold leaf (or silver) on coloured paper.

Two smileys. Best packaging I have ever seen. Print is much better than on the pics. The irony is that I could have picked this up myself. The sender lives in the same city as I do, I only now see.
