This Tourmaline is from Stak Nala, Harmosh Mountains, Skardu District, Pakistan, the region renowned for its beautiful specimens. The specimen consists of a big, columnar Tourmaline sitting on a clear Quartz crystal cluster and some bladed Cleavelandite covering Quartz cluster, as well as the Tourmaline. There is also some small Tourmaline needles peeking through the Cleavelandite rosette. The Tourmaline presents nice coloration, ranging from the crisp, yellowish green on one end, through the dark, opaque green in the middle part, to the other end with alternating planes of saturated green and light blue perpendicular to the crystal elongation. The specimen is in near perfect condition with a minor ding in one of the corners.
