About Kobayashi Ritsudo 小林立堂:
Born in Tokyo in 1903, Kobayashi Ritsudo studied under Kawasaki Shoko 川崎小虎 and specialized in paintings of animals, people, and birds with flowers. He resided in Kamioogikubo Town, Suginami Ward. He passed away in 1974 at the age of 71.
This hanging scroll features a delicate painting of a sparrow perched on a branch with peonies in full bloom.
There are yellowing and stains present. The pivot destination are made of resin.
Handpainted on silk.
Please note that there are minor scuffs and stains. Refer to the provided photos for detailed condition.
