Gold Maki-e black lacquered five tiered juubako - Pudełko - Projekt Feniksa i p - Drewno

This is a five-tiered box with a phoenix and paulownia painted in gold lacquer. This box is about 70 to 100 years old. The condition of the lacquer is relatively good. The phoenix, trees, flowers, and other fine details are clearly painted. There is a small crack in the corner of the bottom tier. There are also scratches, scuffs, peeling, stains that cannot be removed, and signs of use in some places. However, although it is very old, I think it is still in good condition to be used. A tiered box is a box-shaped container that wraps traditional Japanese meals and can be stacked in several tiers. The tiered box is painted with black lacquer and has fine gold patterns, giving it a delicate and elegant impression. Maki-e is a technique in which thin gold leaf is applied to the surface of lacquerware or wooden products, and a pattern called urushi is drawn with lacquer. Gold leaf is very thin and transparent, so when applied on top of the lacquer, it gives off a beautiful shine and gives the ornament a luxurious and elegant impression. The production of lacquerware requires great care, and the craftsman is required to have accurate brushwork and precise technique. This technique is an important part of Japanese traditional crafts and is widely used in arts and crafts decorations and gifts. Height: 36.6 cm Width: 22.6 cm Depth: 21.2 cm Weight: 1800 g Condition: The condition is not bad, but there is a small crack on the corner of the bottom tier. The lid is not warped. There are other stains, spots, peeling, scuffs, scratches, etc. that cannot be removed. Also, this type of jubako is very delicate. Please handle with care. We have posted many photos, so please take a look. Atention: The items listed for sale are all used collectibles. Please consider them to have signs of aging, such as stains, scratches, scuffs, tears, discoloration, fading, fraying, and changes in thread color. We will post as many photos as possible to make it easy to understand. As these are old items, we appreciate your understanding before making a purchase. Shipping: The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped from Japan. We will use either DHL or FedEx for a safe and secure transportation. It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for delivery, and the package will be shipped with a tracking number. Import duties, taxes, VAT, and any other charges are not included in the item price and shipping cost. Please check your country's import duties before bidding. 052121420626
