A year later he registered the brand Dalva, which results from the contraction “da Silva”. With a simple and very Portuguese sound, success was easy to achieve in different markets. Looking for an activity in which to invest the capital from his business in Brazil, the young entrepreneur takes advantage of the close collaboration with the company Corrêa Ribeiro e Filhos, founded in 1862, and owned by his wife's family, to build up his initial stocks and give the first steps in the business, with Vintage Ports from 1896, 1912 or 1920 being famous. Combining centuries-old knowledge and techniques with new technologies and innovation, Dalva's portfolio is unique and distinct, presenting an unparalleled offer of Colheita Port Wines, which include unique and limited editions, the classic Vintage Port Wines, and a range exclusive range of White Port Wines, culminating in the aged and dated Golden White and Dry White collection.
