A green grey glazed ceramic oil lamp from the ancient Indus Valley culture.

11-12th century .

In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming and glazing. Traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased 1994 by Dr. Zelnik in Islamabad on the local art market.
