Antique Grand Diplome D' Honneur Repetition Chronographe Triple Calendar 18K GOLD Quarter Repeater from ca. 1900:
This massive pocket watch with diameter of 55,5 mm is in a very good condition considering its age.
Movement: quarter repetition movement,
Case number: 48299
Dial: white, enamel, black Arabic numerals triple calendar, moon phase (day and month in French) ,
Hands: blued steel
Special features: chronograph, quarter repeater ( strikes the number of hours, and then the number of quarter hours since the last hour. The mechanism uses 2 chimes of different tones ).
Crystal: Acrylic
White dial with black Arabic numerals is in original condition. There are nearly invisible scratches running from the center of the dial to the 11 o'clock position.
Case of the watch is made of 18K solid gold. It has only small traces of use. Gold hallmarks are visible on each inner side of the case.
SWISS movement is in very good working order. It keeps accurate time well. All functions work properly.
